I'm Robert Moir, founder of BRIDGES Fitness and Nutrition Consulting. I'm a personal trainer and nutrition coach with a BSc (hons) in Sport, Fitness and Coaching and certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

After spending years working as a personal trainer and coach, I shifted my focus to providing flexible fitness and nutrition consulting services to help simplify the often complex fitness and nutrition landscape for every day people.

Our Approach

At BRIDGES, we understand that life throws curveballs. That's why our approach is highly personalised and adaptable. We don't believe in rigid, one-size-fits-all plans. Instead, we work with you to navigate the complexities of your week – travel, social events, unexpected setbacks.


Our focus lies in deep client collaboration. We spend more time understanding your unique challenges, celebrating your wins, and learning from setbacks. We don't just throw spreadsheets and PDFs at you. We don't have a call and then disappear for a month without any contact. Each week, we analyse your progress, educate you on the "why" behind your results, and co-create a personalised plan that accounts for the following week's individual needs and obstacles.


We empower you with the knowledge and strategies to achieve your goals independently, whilst supporting you every step of the way.

 

Our ultimate aim is to equip you with the tools and understanding of fitness and nutrition so that you eventually become your own expert, without ever needing a coach again.


Essentially, we're working ourselves out of a job by helping you become self-sufficient in your health journey.
 

Education and CV

Executive Personal Trainer

For 5 years I've worked as an executive Personal Trainer. Coaching at all levels from C-Suite clients, to stay at home parents and everything in between. Taking a data driven and holistic approach to hypertrophy nd nutrition coaching. 

Fitness and Nutrition Ghost Writer

Since 2020 I've been writing editorials on Fitness and Nutrition topics across many popular fitness and health publications. Topics including sport science, biomechanics and human nutrition. 

BSc (hons) S.F.C
Open University

Bachelor of Science (honours) in Sport, Fitness and Coaching sciences. Specifically focussed on the relationship between nutrition and sports performance. 

Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach

NASM - Lvl 2, 3 and 4 Nut.Coach

Certified in Personal Training and Nutrition Coaching through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
